AKS-74uMagazine: 30 rounds The AKS-74u is one of the starting weapons on this Battlefield 3 Engineer Kit weapons list. It is the default weapon for players who are fighting as Spetsnaz. It is a basic Carbine (aka sub-machine gun), The AKS-74u is essentially the sub-machine gun version of the AK-74M. As Battlefield 3 carbine, it has less kick-back and therefore more accuracy when firing at short distances and when shooting from the hip. It is less accurate at longer distances. Check back soon for updates. M4A1Magazine: 30 rounds The M4A1 is the carbine (submachine gun) version of the M16A3. It has similar firing power and function, with slightly less kickback and less long-range accuracy. This is a good short-mid ranged gun for the Engineer. This gun has a major upside and a major downside. The major upside is that its bullets are quite powerful and it does pack a lot of punch. The downside is that it has an incredibly small clip for a fully automatic weapon. You can burn through an entire clip in a heartbeat if you are not careful. Good players do enjoy using this weapon though as it offers good accuracy at short and mid-ranges while packing a lot of power.
